      <head>Historical Note</head>
      <p>Charles McNab founded the McNab Drug Company in Spokane Falls during the early 1880s. The
        firm continued to serve the Spokane area with pharmaceuticals, paints and oil supplies under
        several different owners.</p>

    <scopecontent encodinganalog="5202_">
      <p>The ledger contains prescriptions written by doctors in the Spokane area and filled by the
        McNab Drug Company. The prescription sheets are pasted into a ledger that was the guest
        registry for the Norden Hotel, Spokane, 1899-1900.</p>
