<p>This collection contains bound and unbound volumes of annual administrative reports for the Washington State Agricultural Extension service from 1963-1977. These include detailed statistical reports divided by year and county that details the number and totals of extension efforts including studies of problems and opportunities, consultations meetings, new articles stories, direct mailing effort, radio broadcasts, and television appearances. The primary activities represented in these reports are the efforts of local county Extension Service agents who helped regular people make decisions regarding farm business feasibility, crop insurance, prevention and control of disease, protection against nuclear hazards, non-farm employment opportunities, and the selection and use of machinery, amongst many other things.
