         <p>Vera Henry (1909 - ) was born in Forest, Ontario, Canada. Henry graduated high school when she was fourteen. She became a writer of short stories, including confession stories. </p>
         <p>Henry was published in confession magazines (or love pulps) beginning in 1943, and in other women's magazines, beginning in 1944. She was represented by the Lenniger Literary Agency.</p>
         <p>Since 1962, Henry has been a staff member of the Oakland University Writer's Conference, and is an editorial associate with the Writer's Digest. </p>

         <p>Correspondence is separated into outgoing and incoming sections. </p>
         <p>Outgoing letters are organized alphabetically, and are from 1954. </p>
         <p>Incoming letters (over 180) are organized by date, 1949 to 1958, and include letters from Edith Margolis of the Lenniger Literary Agency.</p>
         <p>The manuscripts of short stories contain drafts with corrections. There is also a copy of one children's book by Henry titled, Ong, The Wild Gander, a book about a young girl and her pet, a wild Canadian goose. </p>
