<p>This collection contains bound volumes of the annual reports of a variety of Extension Service specialists, including agriculture, soils and crops, plant pathology, epidemiology, and numerous other studies related to agricultural industry. These works contain the lab notes, findings, and analysis of many specialists working with the Extension program to improve upon various aspects of the Washington State agricultural economy. These records detail the work of many specialists with the U.S. Government Bureau of Plant Industry, including their travel logs, field work, and findings while working for the Washington Agricultural Extension Service and the State College of Washington (later Washington State University). Notable in them are the World War II era Emergency Farm Labor Specialists Reports.
