The Idaho Comic Collection began with a donation from Dennis Eichhorn.
Writer, editor and cartoonist Eichhorn is a 1966 graduate of Boise Junior College and a 1968 graduate of the University of Idaho. Eichhorn's career includes work in mainstream journalism as well as with underground publications. He is the founder and editor of the zine Northwest Extra!
The collection represents the current Idaho Comic community in Boise and the area.
