         <p>The Social Science Club was a faculty organization at the University of Oregon. The club organized programs and dinners where various faculty and other experts gave papers on topics relating to the social sciences. The papers span a diverse range of subjects.</p>

         <p>Notable faculty/people involved include Ted Stern, professor of Anthropology; H.G. Swank, Librarian; and David C. Duniway, State Archivist.  Papers presented by numerous others.</p>
