 Biographical Note

Latter-day Saints church elders divided Logan into four wards on April 1, 1861, one of which was the Second Ward. It consisted of the area sourth of 100 North and west of 200 West, including a section south and west of the railroad tracks known as the West Field District. The ward's first bishop was Henry Ballard, who served until 1900.

This collection consists of records from the Logan, Utah, Second Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They include 1982 and 1983 ward records, including announcements of mission calls, deaths, weddings, a ward paper, and 1981 member photographs. The collection also contains materials related to the 1987 centennial celebration of the building and historical photos of the building since 1887, as well as a Logan Business College library stamp.
