      <head>Organizational History:</head>
      <p>Coman Hall was built in 1958. It was named for Edwin T. Coman, former Spokane banker and member of the Board of Regents. It was planned as a women's residence.</p>
    </bioghist>
    <arrangement encodinganalog="351">
      <p>The records of Coman Hall, 1964-1975, consist of minutes, hall handbooks (Coman Consensus), hall newspapers (Coman Crier) and correspondence. The minutes are arranged chronologically and include both house meetings and the meetings of the House Council.</p>
