These projects include grant projects to improve medical staffing, facilities, and equipment in Eastern Washington, as well as studies and educational programs. The collection also includes meeting minutes, fiscal records, and personnel files. This is the predecessor agency to Eastern Washington Health Services Agency.</p>

         <p>The Comprehensive Health Planning Agency located in Spokane, Washington, served communities of eastern Washington and north Idaho through the development and maintenance of numerous medical facilities, and educational programs from 1966 to 1975. The Comprehensive Health Planning Agency was the predecessor of the Eastern Washington Health Services Agency, which operated from 1976 to 1986.</p>
