         <p>Ernest Boyd MacNaughton (1880-1960) was a Portland, Oregon, businessman who served as president of Portland's First National Bank from 1932-1947, president of the Oregonian Publishing Company from 1947-1950, and president of Reed College from 1948-1952. MacNaughton was also president and director of the Oregon Historical Society and was active in many other civic interests. He was married first to Gertrude A. Hutchinson (d. 1942) and later, in 1944, to Cheryl Schulz (1889-1974), who served on the state Board of Education from 1944-1963.</p>
