The WSU Physical Plant was originally known as Buildings and Grounds dating back to at least 1908 when a superintendent was appointed to the department. The department underwent a name change to Buildings and Grounds in the 1960's and a reorganizing in the 80's. The department is responsible for small scale construction and remodeling work around the WSU campus, as well as day to day maintenance.

Includes specification reports, an Operations and Maintenance Manual related to the McCluskey Services building, and other projects such as Yakima Village and the WSU commons. Files and manuals range from 1993-2002.

This is an unprocessed collection. Any arrangement reflects either a pre-existing order from the records' creators or previous custodians, or preliminary sorting performed by staff.

Files are in no particular order though some are in subject folders. Contains bound reports.
