The 14 photographs depict Clyde Eddy, their boats the Dellenbagh and Coronado, and the crew which was made up 
                of Robert H. Weatherhead, John H. Marshall, Frederick L. Felton, Edward L. Holt, Vincent F. Callaway, Robert F. Bartl, Vincent F. Carey, O.A. Seager, W. Gordon Adger, Bradley-Camera Man, Parley Galloway-River Guide, and McGregory. Two of the photos have an International News stamp on 
                the back. The collection also contains a postcard depicting Clyde Eddy and captioned “Just ran in to wish you a Merry Christmas.”</abstract>

            <head>Biographical Note</head>
            <p>Clyde Eddy was born in Texas and after serving in the Navy from 1906-1908, he attended the University of California and then graduate school at Columbia. He was a lecturer and pharmacist in new York City. In addition to the 1927 expedition, he was also a leader of the Eddy-Frazier 
            Colorado River Expedition of 1934.</p>
