History of An Afternoon with Mikhail Gorbachev

“An Afternoon with Mikhail Gorbachev” was an event hosted at the University of Wyoming on October 14, 2011 in the Arena Auditorium. The events topic of discussion was global unrest and international leadership in the 21st century through a conversation with Mikhail Gorbachev, former leader of the Soviet Union. Gorbachev was pivotal in helping to end the Cold War between the United States and Russia. After retirement from politics, Gorbachev continued to promote a relationship of trust between the United States and Russia in the aftermath of the Cold War.
