	 	<p>Collection contains five diraries by Amish residents living in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Three diaries dated from 1904, 1908 and 1909 written by Betsie Fisher, born February 4, 1867, death March 22, 1945; and two diaries from 1907-1911 and 1914-1917 by Joel B. Esh, born October 13, 1880, death September 22, 1921. Betsie Fisher diaries contain death records listed in the back of each diary for the year, and the diaries of Joel Esh contain list of goods bought and sold as well as other expenditures.</p>
