        of timber, grazing on public lands, and printed material, correspondence, and applications
        related to the USDA Agriculture Adjustment Administration of Roosevelt's New

      <head>Historical Note</head>
      <p>Oakley R. Jackson ranched and farmed around the White Sulphur Springs area. He tried his
        hand a various livestock operations include dairy cattle, chickens, pigs, horses, and beef
        cattle. Mr. Jackson was involved in farming operations of growing grasses and alfalfa for
        hay and grain for livestock feed.</p>
