Elnorah Jane "Nora" Yearian Whitwell was born on October 31, 1869 in Beaverhead County, Montana. She was the second of two children of George W. Yearian and his second wife, Elizabeth Ann Stroud. Nora married June 24, 1889 in Salmon, Idaho to Dr. William Carroll Whitwell. Nora passed away on August 12, 1973 in Salmon, Lemhi County, Idaho.
