         <p>Robert A. Fulton is an Oregon author who has published three histories regarding the Moro peoples in the Philippines during the early 20th century: <emph render="italic">Moroland: The History of Uncle Sam and the Moros, 1899-1920</emph> (2009), <emph render="italic">Honor for the Flag: The Battle of Bud Dajo â€“ 1906 and The Moro Massacre</emph> (2011), and <emph render="italic">Images from Moroland, 1899 to 1921</emph> (2018). Fulton had first-hand experiences with the Moro peoples while stationed in the Philippines as a Foreign Service officer during the 1960s. He has conducted research on early 20th century Moro peoples at several repositories including the National Archives, US Army Heritage and Education Center, Navy Department Library, Naval War College Library, University of Washington, University of Michigan, University of the Philippines, Indiana Historical Society, and University of Oregon Special Collections and University Archives. His research also included private correspondence with individual authors, historians, and descendants of persons involved in the period.</p>

Fulton research collection on the Moro people contains research files, books, and a digital archive relating to the Moro people and the American occupation of the Southern Philippines during the early 20th century. Noted subjects in the files include the Philippine-American War, the Philippine Constabulary, the Moro Constabulary, and histories of the Moro people. A more detailed inventory, created by the donor, is available upon request.</p>
