The WSU Physical Plant was originally known as Buildings and Grounds dating back to at least 1908 when a superintendent was appointed to the department. The department underwent a name change to Buildings and Grounds in the 1960's and a reorganizing in the 80's. The department is responsible for small scale construction and remodeling work around the WSU campus, as well as day to day maintenance.

Primarily consists of building plans, memoranda, and other administrative reports known as "submittals" related to the development of the Food Science and Nutrition building on the WSU Pullman Campus ranging from 1990-1991.

This is an unprocessed collection. Any arrangement reflects either a pre-existing order from the records' creators or previous custodians, or preliminary sorting performed by staff.

All boxes are sorted into subject files that are filed by project number and subject matter.
