      <p>Literary manuscripts, correspondence, artwork, and other papers of Keith Abbott
        (1944-2019). A graduate of WWU, Abbott wrote fiction and poetry and taught creative writing
        at Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado. The collection contains extensive correspondence
        with publishers and noted writers of the Beat generation, among others. Also available are
        numerous artworks in the Buddhist tradition.</p>
      <p>The collection is currently unprocessed. Many of the files contain brief explanatory notes
        by Keith's wife, Lani Abbott.</p>
