         <p>This collection consists of materials acquired by Hannibal Blair, M.D., during his time at the Willamette University Medical Department. Materials consist of cards, size 4 3/8" x 2 3/4", including a schedule of lectures card (1882-1883); 21 attendance and completion cards for sessions 1882-1883, designating titles of classes and lecturer with faculty member signatures, attendance regularity, and dates; 2 matriculation tickets for 1881 and 1881-1882; an invitation for medical students to attend a reception at the residence of Professor and Mrs. James Browne, complete with envelope; and correspondence from Dean E. P. Fraser, containing Dr. Blair's final examination results towards earning an M.D. degree.</p>

Blair, M.D., son of Hannibal Blair, M.D. The papers were initially placed in the Medical Museum Collection as accession 77-138.1.26 and later accessioned into the Historical Collections &amp; Archives in October 2007. The initial date of acquisition is unknown.</p>
