Jesse Robert Stratford Budge was born in 1878. He was an attorney in Utah and Idaho. He graduated from the University of Michigan in 1900 and married Grace Hoff.
The Jesse R. S. Budge Jesse R. S. Budge family history and autobiography (1949) consists of family memories by Jesse Budge (1878-1964), titled "Pioneer Days: Some Reminiscences." This writing gives details of growing up in a polygamous family in Paris, Idaho, and of Budge's legal career. Also included are some philosophical poems and stories by Budge.
