			<p>Kevin Timothy Brockschmidt attended Washington State University, graduating 1990 cum
				laude with a B.A. in Fine Arts. According to his website
				(https://www.kevscartoons.com/, retrieved May 2023), during his career he has been
				the creative director of a large Internet company, worked as an editorial cartoonist
				and graphic designer at newspapers, designed ads for a yellow pages publisher, and
				spent almost five years in an engineering department as a 3D modeler and drafter.
				His freelance clients in the United States and abroad included Gibbs Smith,
				Nintendo, Wizards of the Coast, Starlog and Comics Scene magazines, Reader's Digest,
				King Features Syndicate, and GrapeCity in Japan. He has worked on a wide variety of
				projects including digital art, animation, games, book design, t-shirts, publishing,
				and website development.</p>

			<p>The collection consists of 64 original cartoons, editorial and otherwise, created
				between 1988 and 1990 by Washington State University student Kevin T. Brockschmidt
				for use in the WSU student newspaper, the Evergreen. They deal with local issues
				such as book pricing, athletics, and student drinking, as well as national
				issues. </p>
			<p>The cartoons are done in pencil, ink, and marker, with some white-out corrections.
				Each is about 6”x8”, on 8.5”x11” heavy paper. Publication dates, where known, have
				been penciled in on the backs by the creator.</p>

	 	<p>The cartoons are maintained in chronological order, which is how they were received. They have been foldered by school semester for ease of handling.</p>
