    <bioghist encodinganalog="5450_">
      <p>Hermon Emerson McCroskey (1893-1978) and Floyd Talmage McCroskey (1893-1964) were the "Two McCroskey Brothers" named in this scrapbook's title. Both brothers were born in Whitman County, WA, to Solon and Mary Alice McCroskey. Both graduated from Lewis and Clark High School in Spokane, WA and served in World War I. Hermon, who assembled and annotated the album, was an executive for Paramount Pictures in Hollywood. Floyd remained in Washington State, and worked as an executive in the airline, finance, and insurance industries.</p>
