		  President Theodore Roosevelt mainly from his visits to Seattle and Everett in
		  1903 and 1911</abstract></did><odd type="hist"><p>Theodore "Teddy" Roosevelt was the 26th President of the United States
		  of America, serving from 1901-1909. He became President after the assassination
		  of President McKinley. Roosevelt visited Seattle and Everett in 1903, and again
		  visited Seattle and the University of Washington in 1911. In Seattle, 10th
		  Avenue was renamed Roosevelt Way upon Theodore Roosevelt's death in 1919.
		  Roosevelt High School was also named after Theodore Roosevelt.</p></odd><scopecontent encodinganalog="5202_" id="a3"><p>The 1903 photos depict Roosevelt arriving in Seattle, Washington and
		  giving a speech in Everett, Washington. The 1911 photos depict Roosevelt's
		  journey along a parade route in Seattle as well as speaking at the University
		  of Washington.
