			<p>The University of Washington Ethnomusicology Archives has been collecting and curating unique ethnographic music recordings for over 50 years. Its holdings of more than 15,000 items include field recordings documenting music traditions of all kinds from most areas of the world, concert recordings of visiting musicians, and films and videos of a variety of musical events, as well as several hundred musical instruments. The Archives serves the students and faculty in the UW Ethnomusicology Program, the broader university community, Pacific Northwest tribes, and an international clientele of musicians, students, and teachers.</p>

			<p>Contents: Tape 1: Sindhi folk music recorded at Lybarger residence in Karachi 9/12/68;  Instruments - 1 dholak, 1 bansuri, 2 tamburas; Tape 2: folk singer with sarangi recorded in Murree 7/20/63; set of bells attached to the bow (fluctuating speed on original copy of Tape 2)</p>
			<p>Recordings given to Lowell Lybarger by his father Lee Lybarger to be donated to the UW Ethnomusicology Archives; full permission is given for reproduction of these recordings, in accordance with Archives policy.</p>
