The Order of the Knights of Pythias is an international fraternity which was founded in 1864 by Justus H. Rathbone. Domains of the Order exist in most states and provinces, and subordinate lodges are located in many cities and towns across the United States and Canada. Damon Lodge Number 31, located in Garfield, Washington, was organized in 1887 and was disbanded in 1955.
This collection consists of correspondence, minutes, financial and membership records, and printed material. This collection also contains a charter for Woodmen of the World, Garfield Camp 138, granted in 1895.
