		  and in Anaktuvuk Pass, Alaska</abstract></did><bioghist encodinganalog="5450_"><p>Margaret Blackman (born 1944) is an anthropologist known for her work
		  with the Haida First Nation of the Queen Charlotte Islands of British Columbia,
		  Canada, beginning in the 1970s. She is a professor emeritus of anthropology at
		  the State University of New York at Brockport, and received her PhD. from The
		  Ohio State University. Her best-known work is a collaborative biography of the
