		  Guy V. Graham &amp; Libby McNeill Libby</abstract></did><bioghist encodinganalog="5450_" id="ARN2344889" altrender="sync"><p>Guy Graham was born on September 23, 1893. He was first hired by
		  Libby, McNeill &amp; Libby in 1913 as a cannery helper. During his career with
		  Libby, McNeill &amp; Libby he was a draughtsman, District Superintendent,
		  General Superintendent and became the Vice President of the salmon division in
		  1941.He retired after 41 years with Libby, McNeill &amp; Libby, and died in
		  1976.</p><p>By the 1940s, Libby, McNeill &amp; Libby was one of the largest
		  producers of salmon canning operations in the United States. The Libby fleet
		  included the ship<emph render="italic"> Abner Coburn </emph>, the barks 
		  <emph render="italic"> George Curtis </emph>,<emph render="italic"> Oriental </emph>, and<emph render="italic"> W.B. Flint </emph>,
		  the schooners<emph render="italic"> Henry Wilson </emph>, and 
		  <emph render="italic"> Salvator </emph>, the motor ships<emph render="italic"> W.F. Burrows </emph>, and<emph render="italic"> Libby
		  Maine </emph>, the steamers<emph render="italic"> George F. Haller </emph>and 
		  <emph render="italic"> North Star </emph>, and the power schooner 
		  <emph render="italic"> Expansion </emph>. On average, it produced 700,000 cases
		  of canned salmon annually. Libby canneries were located at Egegik, Ekuk,
		  Libbyville, Koggiung, Egushik, Nushagak, Kenai, Yakutat, and Ketchikan.</p></bioghist><scopecontent encodinganalog="5202_" id="a3"><p>Chiefly photographs of cannery operations at Libby, McNeill &amp;
		  Libby Cannery in Alaska. Also includes photographs of various locales in Alaska
		  and Washington State.</p></scopecontent><phystech encodinganalog="340" id="a35"><p>In the 1980s, four boxes were identified as belonging to the Guy Graham
		collection. However, only three of the four are accounted for, the fourth box
