         <p>Correspondence mostly consists of professional letters regarding Oregon politics, with a few pieces of personal correspondence intermixed. Incoming and outgoing letters are interfiled and organized by date, 1933-1950. Included here are letters from Earl Snell and Douglas McKay.</p>
         <p>There is a file that consists of campaign related news releases, printed matter and flyers, and other publicity. The topic of veterans appears often. </p>
         <p>Also included in the collection are drafts of speeches, including a speech recording on a 45 RPM record. </p>
