Scope and Content: Maps (1803-1806, 1814), correspondence (1943, 1945, 1954) regarding Lewis and Clark expeditions, 1803-1806; John Colter's explorations, 1814.

Correspondence, especially with Oregon State Library, documents his research of Pacific Northwest exploration and history.

Restrictions on Use: Creator's literary rights not transferred to the University of Washington Libraries.

Scope and Content: Correspondence, including hand-drawn maps; ca. 1932-1960. The correspondence, especially with Oregon State Library, documents his research of Pacific Northwest exploration and history. Maps are primarily of the Oregon Counties of Tillamook and Clatsop, dated 1832, and 1851-1858.

Restrictions on Use: Creator's literary rights not transferred to the University of Washington Libraries.
