  		<p>Phillip Jacobson, b. 1928, studied architecture at Washington State University, graduating in 1952. He worked with architectural firms in the Seattle area in the following years, chiefly with TRA, a firm in which he was a principal partner. From 1965 forward he also held a position at the University of Washington. His interests spanned a wide range, from construction management to urban planning and interior design. In 1973 he was named a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects.</p>

	 	<p>The collection consists of material assembled for an exhibit in 1992 and 1993. Included are an exhibit brochure, an oral history, biographical material, and publications by Jacobson.</p>
