Reverend E. Paul Hovey served for many years as the minister of Congregational Presbyterian Church in Lewiston, Idaho. During his time there and his retirement years in Portland, Oregon, Hovey collected and compiled information on the history of the Presbyterian church in the Northwest.
This collection contains articles, clippings, and bibliographical lists compiled by Reverend E. Paul Hovey about the history of the Presbyterian Church in the Northwest. Also includes information regarding explorers and non-Presbyterian leaders who paved the way for Presbyterian ministers. Materials are arranged alphabetically by person.
