			<p>The Washington State University Libraries date to the founding of the Washington
				Agricultural College and School of Science, when the library was just a shelf in the
				President’s office in the first campus building. It quickly grew and became a room
				in the original College Hall, then half a floor in the Administration Building
				(Thompson Hall), then half of Bryan Hall, then the full Holland Library, and then
				the Owen Science and Engineering Library as well. Over time a number of departmental
				libraries acted as branches of the system, some officially and some unofficially. </p>

			<p>Files from this collection include continuing education, plans, budgets, and council
				meeting minutes. Delivery system files, and copyright files are included.
				Documentation of Check in's and out of library materials are included. </p>

			<p>This is an unprocessed collection. Any arrangement reflects either a pre-existing
				order from the records' creators or previous custodians, or preliminary sorting
				performed by staff. </p>
			<p>All boxes contain administrative files and correspondence. Boxes are filed into
				folders based on subject amtter and are very rougly filed alphabetically. Boxes 1-6
				cover A-W. Box 7-9 contain reports on library usage. Box 10-13 have no particular
				order.</p>
