This record group contains financial information and insurance valuations for the early buildings on campus as well as one or two photographs of each building. The material was removed from a loose leaf notebook and placed in folders, one building to a folder.

Legal documents related to the construction of buildings on the University of Idaho campus, including memoranda of agreement, deeds of trust, mortgages, notes for special loans, and releases of mortgage were added to this group in 2011.

Other photographs of university buildings can be found in a scrapbook located in MG 5434 as well as in the historic photograph collection.

The book of histories and photographs of University of Idaho buildings was transferred to the library from the Business Office in July 1987. Legal documents related to the construction of buildings on the University of Idaho campus were transferred by the University of Idaho Department of Financial Affairs Real Estate Office in November 2011.
