      <p>Edna Grier was a Spokane free-lance journalist who specialized in technical articles,
        largely dealing with architecture and the building industry.</p>
    </bioghist>

      <p>The collection consists of typescripts of Edna Grier’s articles, some of which refer to
        Spokane buildings and shopping centers in the 1960s. There also are articles on business and
        management, police dogs and advertising, as well as a lengthy essay on the 1960 miner’s
        strike at Bunker Hill Mines.</p>
