Forrest Crissey lived in Chicago, Illinois and was employed by the Times and Post until the turn of the twentieth century when he transitioned to the Saturday Evening Post. He also published in Harper’s magazine. Crissey wrote articles for the magazine for forty years. He also wrote eleven books, of which Tattlings of a Retired Politician reigned as his most popular. His books ranged in genre from semi-fiction to poetry.
Collection contains five books by Forrest Chrissey published between 1903 and 1934 and two newspaper clippings.
