         <p>Robert Vincent Wright was born on May 11, 1919 in Seattle. He was a screen writer for television programs from 1961 to 1978. He died June 17, 2007 in Thousand Oaks, California of acute bronchitis and pneumonia.</p>

         <p>Series I contains synopses, outlines, and production copies of scripts for major television series including "Bonanza," "Dr. Kildare," "Maverick," "Mission Impossible," "Surfside," and "The Virginian." Series II contains Wright's screenplays and other writings, work of his family members, and family photographs and documents. Series III contains screenplays, unpublished and published literary works and personal statements, biographical information, newspaper clippings, correspondence, and photographs.</p>
