The Beta Theta Pi (Beta) fraternity was founded in 1998 at Miami University, Ohio and their mission is "to develop men of principle for a principled life."

The Beta Theta Pi collection consists of memorabilia from the Gamma Beta chapter at the University of Utah. The collection includes booklets, a chalice, photos, a pin, and clip all circa 1976-1977.

This collection is arranged beginning with booklets and manuals and is followed by photos. Final items in the collection include the chalice, pin, and clip.

Twenty-four hour advanced notice encouraged. Materials must be used on-site. Access to parts of this collection may be restricted under provisions of state or federal law.

The pin contained in this box was given to donor, Bruce "Bambi" Lambert, upon the ending of his term as a Beta officer. Lambert was Rush Chairman and his active pin was given to him when he became a member in 1976. The pin is engraved with Lambert's initials as well as his Beta number (1472). The goblet in this box was given to Lambert upon being elected Pledge Master (1976) and is engraved with the date as well.
