      <bioghist encodinganalog="5450_">
    
         <p>Vernon Kegley was born on April 22, 1921 in Illinois. He attended Whitman College and graduated with a degree in economics. He was part of the U.S. Air Corps and the Air Force Reserves during World War II and the Korean War. He worked at Baker-Boyer National Bank in Walla Walla, Washington for 41 years before retiring in 1986. He married Marylou Coleman in 1948 at the First Presbyterian Church in Walla Walla. Mr. Kegley passed away on November 12, 2014.</p>
         <p>Marylou Coleman was born on March 24, 1921 and grew up in Tillamook, Oregon. She attended Whitman College and graduated from Eastern Washington College of Education. She worked as a school teacher in Seattle and at the Paine School Walla Walla. She married Vernon Kegley in the First Presbyterian Church in Walla Walla on June 20, 1948. She died on July 8, 2009.</p>

         <p>The Vernon and Marylou Kegley Oral History contains an interview with Vernon and Marylou Kegley on DVD. The interview, conducted by Rose Marie Walter on November 6 and 7, 2006, provides information about the Kegley's personal histories and their involvement with Baker-Boyer bank.</p>
