      <p>This manuscript contains a military history of the United States Air
		  Force's 492nd Bombardment Group. Also known as the Carpetbagger Project, the
		  492nd flew special operations to deliver supplies to resistance groups in
		  enemy-occupied countries during World War II. The manuscript contains
		  references to official military correspondence, journal entries and other
		  personal accounts, and numerous photographs and copies of newspaper
		  clippings.</p>
