The USS West Lianga, a steel steamship with an 8,800 deadweight tonnage, launched from Seattle, Washington, on April 20, 1918. Its construction at the Skinner and Eddy Shipyard took 55 working days, which set a world record for the least number of working days.

The USS Nile, a steamship with a 7,000 deadweight tonnage, launched from the Skinner and Eddy Shipyard on November 11, 1919. It was sunk in 1927.
