Biography of Larry Forrester
Larry Forrester was born April 21, 1924, in Glasgow, Scotland. He was a writer and a producer best known for his movie and television work. Some of his notable works include: Tora!Tora!Tora! and episodes for tv shows like Vega$, Fantasy Island, and Hart to Hart.
Forrester was not only a screenwriter but a novelist as well, with notable titles such as Fly for Your Life and A Girl Called Fathom. He died in February of 1988.
Scope and Content
Larry Forrester's collection contains scripts that he created for film and television between 1960 and 1987. His film scripts include "Tora! Tora! Tora!" and "Gettysburg". Some of his TV scripts were for "Fantasy Island", "Star Trek: The Next Generation" and "Hart to Hart".
There are no access restrictions on the materials for research purposes,
and the collection is open to the public.
