Paul Ranous Greever, a member of the Democratic Party, was Wyoming's representative to the United States House of Representatives from 1935 to 1939. He was a lawyer who also served as mayor of Cody, Wyoming, from 1930 to 1932, and he was a trustee of the University of Wyoming from 1932 to 1934.
The collection primarily consists of materials, including clippings, from Greever's time as Wyoming's representative in the U.S. House of Representatives. Also included are photographs of Greever and documents related to a ranch that he purchased.
There are no access restrictions on the materials for research purposes, and the collection is open to the public.

A “Re-elect Greever to Congress” poster.
Includes a scrapbook of clippings, most of which are about or were written by Greever, and two separate clippings about him.
An invitation to a reception at the White House and a card that says, “Mrs. Roosevelt will be glad to Receive Mr. and Mrs. Greever.” Also includes a program for “Mrs. Lawrence Townsend’s One Hundredth Musical Morning.”
A government-printed copy of an “adverse report” on the “Reorganization of the Federal Judiciary”—FDR’s court-packing plan—by Senator William H. King (D-Utah); it includes an attached slip of paper that says, “For release when presented to the Senate. NOT BEFORE MONDAY AFTERNOON, June 14” and a handwritten note to Greever (the author’s name is illegible).
Documents concerning a ranch that Greever purchased from Howard C. and Maud M. Fritzler—including correspondence, an oil-and-gas lease, a certificate of location and receipt, certificates of appropriation of water, affidavits, multiple contracts, and land patents, and a manila envelope, addressed to Paul Greever’s wife, in which the documents were received.
