Sam Rolfe, screenwriter and producer, began his career with a radio script for “Suspense” and continued to write for radio, motion pictures, and television. He collaborated with Herb Meadow on the western television series “Have Gun – Will Travel” and took over development of “The Man from U.N.C.L.E.” from Ian Fleming. He was nominated for an Oscar for his movie screenplay “The Naked Spur”

 Scope and Content

The collection contains production files and scripts for many of Sam Rolfe’s movie and television projects, including “Have Gun – Will Travel,” “Man from U.N.C.L.E.,” “Naked Spur,” “Delphi Bureau,” and others. Correspondence and photographs are also included.
