J. Paul Coie (born 1910) moved to Pullman ca. 1918 and later attended WSU. He talks about his college friend Edward R Murrow, his experiences in debate, professors Claudius Johnson and Herman Deutch, and his experiences in Pullman and at WSU in the 1920s.

The collection consists of one regular cassette tape, 4 microcassette tapes, approximately 155 minutes total, and a complete transcript of the interview both in print and on a 3.5" disk.

They were abstracted around 1991 by WSU Foundation staff. (Release: YES)
