         <p>The Janet French Papers contain reseach files for her 2002 thesis, <emph render="italic">The Invisible Immigrants: A History of the South Asian Indian Community in Boise, Idaho</emph>, including 24 oral history interviews on cassette. The collection also contains files related to Idaho Black/African-American organizations and history.</p>

         <p>Janet French graduated from Boise State University in 2002 with a MA in History. French also served as Secretary for the Treasure Valley NAACP chapter, as Secretary and Chair of the Permanent Exhibit Committee for the Idaho Black History Museum, and as an advisor to the board for the Treasure Valley Council for Church and Social Action Community Ministries Center.</p>
