John E. Anderson was an early childhood education psychologist. Born in Laramie, Wyoming, he attended the University of Wyoming where he earned his undergraduate degree and went on to complete his doctorate in psychology at Harvard University. Anderson served as president of the American Psychological Association in 1943.
Collection contains research publications in early childhood education, behavior, and psychology by Anderson; publications about handwriting and reading by June E. Downey; and a history of the University of Wyoming by Wilson O. Clough.
There are no access restrictions on the materials for research purposes, and the collection is open to the public.
