			<p>Vivian Helen Moss McNary (1916-2013) was born in Pullman, Washington to parents
				Wallace and Ida Moss. She grew up in Pullman, and graduated from the State College
				of Washington in 1939. While attending WSC, she met and married David Clark McNary
				(1917-1971). They eventually relocated to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.</p>

			<p>This collection consists of a reproduced typescript, "Memoirs of Helen McNary". In
				this volume, Helen Moss McNary writes about her childhood in Pullman, Washington,
				and her years as a student at the State College of Washington. The volume is
				extensively illustrated with reproduced family photographs and documents.</p>
