news-clippings, correspondence, newsletters and memos, and autographed event
posters for James Bertolino and Elizabeth Austen. From 1971-2013, the
Association has supported poetry across the state, organizing and sponsoring
poetry events and publishing an annual journal titled "Cascade"The Washington Poets Association existed to support poetry across the
state through the organization and sponsorship of poetry events, contests, and
the publication of its annual poetry journal Cascade. Established in 1971, the
association was dissolved in 2013, after 42 years of existence.
