Forbes Parkhill (1892-1974) was a Denver, Colorado, journalist and author of Western history and fiction.

 Scope and Content

The collection includes drafts, manuscripts, and correspondence related to approximately 320 short stories. There are galley proofs, manuscripts and drafts for several books, including "The Last of the Indian Wars," "Mister Barney Ford," "The Law Goes West," "The Wildest of the West," "The Blazed Trail of Antoine Leroux," and "Donna Madixxa Goes West." Also included are two scrapbooks and miscellaneous other materials.
